Payment
A final invoice will be used within 14 days of the of the booking and this should be settled within 30 days of receipt. Payment should be made to "Winterhill Conference Centre".

Cancellations
There is no charge if you find it necessary to cancel the booking up to one month before the event. If cancellation occurs between one month and seven days prior to the booking, a 10% charge will be made. If cancellation occurs within 7 days of the booking (or in the event of a non-arrival); the full amount will be charged.

Insurance
The Centre has extensive public liability cover.

Arrival: Safety and Security Procedure
All visitors to the Centre wil be required to sign in and will be issued with a delegate security badge on arrival at the Centre. The badge should be worn at all times and be returned to reception when signing out and leaving the building.

An accurate visitors' register is required in order to comply with fire safety regulations.

Damage to Centre or its Equipment
It is the responsibility of those hiring the Centre's facilities to take good care of and not cause permit or suffer any damage to premises, equipment, fixtures or fittings during the period of hire. The hirer will be liable for any repair costs.

Personal Property
We regret that the Centre cannot be held responsible for the security of property belonging to those using our facilities and car park, though obviously we shall do all we can to look after your property. The Centre and its car park benefit from sound security measures.

Use of Hirer's Own Equipment and Materials
Any materials or equipment brought in by delegates must comply with all current and relevant regulations. Consent for the use of such materials and/or equipment should be sought from the Centre.

In the event of any problem, you will be liable for any damage or injury arising from the use of the equipment or materials you have brought with you, unless this was caused by the negligence or bad faith of the Centre or its employees.

Fire Precautions
In the unlikely event of a fire, on hearing the alarm, delegates should immediately leave the building via the Conference Centre reception (if practicable), or by the nearest available exit and proceed to Assembly Point B at the side of the building. (Signs indicate the nearest fire exit and the location of Assembley Point B).

The fire bell is tested regularly on Tuesday mornings between 9.00 - 10.00am. In order to comply with the fire regulations, incediary or explosive devices are strictly prohibited.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Conference Centre itself, or its immediate environment. A sheltered area for smoking is available beyond the patio.

Patio
In warm weather you are welcome to use the outdoor seating provided on the patio (beyond the Restaurant) for short breaks.
